Rental Rules (for Clubhouse, Grounds, and Pavilion):
|
The Clarklake Beach and Boat Club welcomes the use of its clubhouse, grounds, and
pavilion by individuals, groups and other organizations. So that use can be a positive
experience for both the club and the using group the following policies and rules need
to be read and understood.
|
- The Clarklake Beach and Boat Club is a private club made up of stockholding and
non-stockholding members. Our tax status and terms of our liquor license requires
that any function held at the club be sponsored by the club or a member. In the
case of a member sponsored function the sponsored member must be in atten-
dance.
- Written application must be made for use of the clubhouse, grounds or pavilion.
The activities committee has the sole discretion to approve or disapprove all
applications subject to the overview of the board of directors of the Clarklake
Beach and Boat Club. Deposit required for all functions.
- The club operates under a club class liquor license which requires sales to groups
or individuals that are non-members to be sponsored by the club or a member to
have alcoholic beverages available. Parties should designate if they wish to have
bar service when making out their application for use. Request for bar service may
be handled either on a drink by drink basis or run a tab payable at the conclusion
of the function. Where these arrangements have not been made in advance the
club bar will be closed toany non-member attending the function.
- No alcoholic beverage may be brought onto the club grounds from the outside.
This is strictly enforced and could result in removal of any individual that fails
to follow it.
- Decorating plans must be discussed and approved by the clubhouse manager or
activities chairman.
- Gambling is prohibited
- No vehicles are allowed on the picnic grounds.
- The club manager or activities committee must approve all music.
- Guest attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.
- Clean up. All tables and chairs must be cleared of debris and returned to storage
location. All debris must be properly disposed of in the trash dumpster.
(Make sure it is not put in the cardboard dumpster.)
